Trade ties with Pakistan should be freezed: ACCI
Sunday, 10 July Officials in Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) have called on all Afghan merchants to halt their trade relations with Pakistan.
The officials were complaining that challenges for Afghan merchants have been doubled despite the transit agreement with Pakistan
ACCI officials also demanded from Afghan government to ban Pakistans transit convoys to Central Asia
Khan Jan Alokozai Deputy for ACCI said, Pakistan refuses to respect the transit agreement which was signed between the two countries and have stopped Afghanistans trade convoys without any logical reason.
Mr. Alokozai said, We urge the Afghan government to take similar action against Pakistani merchants and private sectors so that they should face the same problems.
In the meantime, Afghan Exports Union accuses Afghan government for being careless towards transit agreement between the two countries and not providing the facilities to Afghan merchants.
