The Chinese perspective ? The Taliban will give the Chinese money so the Chinese will shake hands with the Taliban.

But from a sensible person's perspective it is easy to understand that the Taliban was handed power by NATO. Would NATO have left Afghanistan if instead of the mullah Taliban it would have been a leftist / progressive movement like the Solidarity Party of Afghanistan that was sure to take control of the country ?

When Socialist USSR was supporting the Afghan Communists against the Deobandi and Wahabi psychopaths of the Capitalist world, the "Socialism with Chinese characteristics" China was supporting those very psychopaths against the Afghan and USSR Communists. The Taliban is a furtherance of those psychopaths of the 1980s. The Taliban would be greatly grateful to China.

2. Pakistan is not a single entity psychologically. In Pakistan during the period of the Afghan war of the 1980s there were leftist Pakistanis who took refuge in Communist-led Afghanistan and there were leftist Pakistanis in Pakistan who would have wanted the Communists in Afghanistan to win the war.
