Torkham comes under heavy Afghan shelling
According to the paramilitary force, Pakistani troops befittingly responded to the heavy shelling, forcing the enemy guns to go silent.
This is not the first time Pakistani border security officials came under fire from the Afghan side. In June this year, heavy armed clashes had broken out at the Torkham border after Afghan security forces resorted to unprovoked firing injuring two people. Pakistani workers were building a gate on the Pakistani side of the Torkham border when they came under fire from the Afghan side.
