Musharraf says Afghan intelligence under Indian influence

NEW YORK - The Afghan intelligence apparatus works under Indian influence and routinely blames Pakistan of harbouring the Afghan Taliban, who are actually based in and operate from Afghanistan, former President Prevez Musharraf said in an interview broadcast on Sunday.
"We have concrete evidence of Indian involvement," he said in an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria on his GPS news programme.
Gen. Musharraf was reacting to a question from Zakaria, an Indian-American, about the activities of the so-called Quetta Shura and the presence of Mulla Omar in that city.
"I have given documentary evidence of Indian role in Afghanistan from top to bottom here," he added with emphasis, making Zakaria, who has earlier spoke about the activities of some Pakistani militant groups against India, look uncomfortable.
As regards Mullah Omar, Musharraf said he was certainly not in Quetta, considering the huge security presence in Balochitan. "This is absoultely ... 2,000 perecent wrong".
As Musharraf came down hard, Zakaria quickly changed the topic and posed a question about the cases instituted against him and whether he would face trial.
Musharraf gave a standard reply that his decision was legal and in line with the Constitution, and that he would ultimately return to Pakistan. But under close questioning, he expressed his regrets over his decision to dismiss Supreme Court judges. Stating that sometimes even a democratic decision has adverse effects, Musharraf said, "I regret that decision because Pakistan is suffering."

You did not give out other details of what mushi has said - have a look at it

WASHINGTON: Acknowledging that there is "an ingress of the ISI in every terrorist group", former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has alleged
Afghanistan is under influence of Indian intelligence agencies and he has documentary evidence against it.

"Afghan intelligence, Afghan President, Afghan Government. Don't talk of them. I know what they do. They are, by design, they mislead the world. They talk against Pakistan, because they are under the influence of Indian intelligence, all of them," Musharraf told CNN in an interview yesterday.

"The Afghan intelligence (is) entirely under the influence of Indian intelligence. We know that," Musharraf said when asked that Taliban leader Mullah Omar is in the Quetta city of Pakistan.

"Whatever I am saying, I am not saying it here (for the first time). I have given documentary evidence of all this to everyone. There is the documentary evidence. And we know the involvement of Indian intelligence, in India, with their intelligence," Musharraf, currently in London, charged.

"I have given documentary evidence to everyone from top to bottom. Everyone knows it. And we have the documentary evidence," the former Pakistan Army chief said.

Musharraf denied reports and statements coming from the US leaders that ISI still has contacts with the terrorists.

"They (ISI) will not support it (terrorists). That was not the government policy. That was not the military policy. However, there was ingress," he said.

"Always, in every group, there is an ingress of the ISI. And that is the efficiency, the effectiveness of the ISI. You must have ingress, so that you can influence all organisations. And it is this ingress of theirs, which doesn't mean that they are supporting them, but they have ingress. They have some contacts, which can be used for their own advantage," Musharraf said.

He said foreign troops are not welcome in Afghanistan, but now since they are there, they should win the battle against al-Qaida and the Taliban.

"Foreign troops are not welcome there (in Afghanistan). But now that they are there, we have to win. And quitting is not an option at all," he said.

"Anyone who is talking of quitting doesn't understand the ramifications of quitting. He must sit down and analyse what will happen if he were to quit there without a solution.

We have to defeat the al-Qaida, we have to dominate the Taliban, and we have to introduce a credible, legitimate government in Afghanistan. But we cannot leave before that," he said.

Let me rephrase it:

"Oh No! Afghanistan and India are friendly!"; says Musharraf.

Also add US to complete sentance:D but this friendship will be fragil after Talaban take over ,US already offered them 8 provinces which they rejected demanding all .

India should keep in mind the exit strategy lol

:Mod Edit:

As far as your Dr. Afia is concerned: The lady is a fraud who kidnapped her kids so that her ex husband couldn't meet them. then she married a guy and went to Afghanistan for so called Jihad.

She was arrested in Afghanistan and then transferred to the US.

This lady could have done so many things for Pakistan by opening a simple clinic in Pakistan for women but ...

Don't be ridiculous - what he said is something Gen. Petraeus accepted that every intelligence agency does - maintain contacts with every possible enemy entity:

Petraeus: The others though are a little bit less clear in the sense that any intelligence organization has contacts with extremist groups because they're trying to recruit sources among them. And we do the same thing.

Only coward here is you who tends to hide behind their facade of religious extremism and ignorance. Please dont talk for Pakistan, We could do with less of your numbers at this point. And God willing every one of you we loose up north the better our chances become of coming out of this coma.

Don't understand why media is showing so much concern about Afia S. Her biography full of crimes and anti state activity .She was US citizen, if she was involve in anti state activity ,then should be punished. Plus she already surrendered Pakistani nationality. So, what a point to talk about her. When she took oath, she should know, she is not Pakistani national anymore.
We Pakistani are not responsible for WHOLE MUSLIM UMMAH, they have to live their own. Our country is already messed up because of this muslim brotherhood concern ....so just save the Pakistan first and Pakistanies...Work for the better image of Pakistan.

That freed zakaria is a faggot, doin his eyebrows and all. Glad he got put in his place.
But still the way Mush has damaged Pakistan, it's unforgivable, just the fact that he violated the constitution and came to power in a coup is unforgivable let alone other criminal acts he committed from an illegal political position.

Oh, you should really have allowed Musharraf the pleasure of announcing your shoe size, like Bush did.
Bush got the size 10 coming at him - at 12, your one seems to pack a bigger punch
