I feel for these ANA soldiers which are sent to their death without proper planning or any support, the best thing Afghan Govt should do is just call for a cease fire and sit down with Taliban, or else this slaughter will continue to take many lives.

If that is the case, and Biden is right about how many Talibs there are (which is probably an underestimate considering how, like a snowball with the momentum they currently have, they are probably recruiting like never before), then they are matched 1:1, and Pompeo is right, it’s all down to a matter of will.

They have been told to only take control via negotiations thougj defend the taken area

This is the pattern we are seeing 90% of areas have been taken without violence most of fights are happening when commandos try to retake it
