BAJAUR: Three rockets fired from Afghanistan into the Sarakai checkpost in Bajaur injured two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Tuesday, Express News reported.
The attack comes as the third instance of border violation from Afghanistans side in the past two months.
Earlier on September 26, six mortar shells fired from Afghanistan killed two people in the Ghulam Khan Tehsil of North Waziristan Agency.
On September 18, Afghan security forces killed at least five Pakistani citizens close to the Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan.
Islamabad had lodged a strong protest with Kabul on the same day.
Frontier Corps IG Maj Gen Ghuyur Mehmood said last month that foreign consulates near the Pak-Afghan border were creating problems for the country.
He maintained about the warmongers though, that if we stand together for peace, we can easily defeat them and foil their plans.
