Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan had once held a Pakistani identity card, SAMAA TV reported.

The 20-year-old Afghanistan leg-spinner obtained a computerised national identity card under the name of ‘Rashideen’ in February 2014, according to NADRA.

Khan concealed his Afghan citizenship. But now his Pakistani identity card has been blocked, NADRA officials said.

Khan’s former coach, Ali Hoti, has claimed that Rashid Khan not only possesses Pakistani citizenship but also owns a house in Landi Kotal tehsil of Khyber district.

i am not a computer expert but i suggest that there should be NADRA branch code mentioned in computer generated receipt or token.

So that security forces will find easily which branch of NADRA did serious corruption .


NADRA employee will think and do investigation themselves 1000 times before issuing someone ID card.

not only the branch code but operator ID, NADRA is definitely lacking security on their system.

the same person had an ID with a different name.He owned house in landi kotal under that name as well and the locals verified it.He also used that ID card to get into the pakistan cricket team but was rejected.
