MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Afghan authorities seized a truck, loaded with 9.8 tonnes of substance that is used to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs), at a Torkham crossing at the Pakistani border, the 1TV broadcaster reported.

Afghanistan's border police found ammonium nitrate in the truck, carrying fruit boxes from Pakistan, during a Saturday evening check, the 1TV broadcaster reported, citing the Afghan Interior Ministry.

The ministry believes that the substance was planned to be used in terror attacks, according to the broadcaster. During the check, four people were also arrested by Afghan law enforcement.

Afghanistan has repeatedly accused Pakistan of harboring militants of the Haqqani network, affiliated with the Taliban radical movement, which has conducted numerous attacks on the Afghan infrastructure. Islamabad, in its turn, has denied the claims that it supported the militants.

The country is in a state of political and social turmoil, with government forces fighting the ongoing Taliban insurgency, while other extremist organizations, such as the Daesh* terrorist group, have also expanded their activities both in the country and in neighboring states.

Good. A terrorist attack was foiled succesfully. But it won't be long before this incident is called a conspiracy by RAW and NDS to put Pakistan into bad light.

Dipshyt....

It’s smuggled fertiliser..

Afghans are notorious for smuggling;

Tractors
Livestock
Wheat
Cement
Vegetables
Fruit
Fertiliser

Etc etc from Pak into Afghanistan..

They also protested and fired at Pak for actually gating the Torkham border and placing biometric machines for identification and visa purposes.. before Pak gates and placed checking mechanism on Torkham... dozens of thousands of afghanis crossed into Pak illegally!

And are also against fencing of the border!

P.S; Just today 3 afghanis we’re caught here in Karachi involved in terrorism!

The last terrorist attack in Quetta was also done by 5 afghani suicide bombers whose video was released from Afghanistan.. revealing their identities! Thankfully all dogs were sent to heaven and no loss of Pak lives occurred!

Seems a nice cover for sending "9.8 tons of fertilizer" to Afghanistan - which BTW can be used for making IEDs.

So when caught, we can just say "hey, fertilizer does contain ammonium nitrate!"
stop crying help afghanistan send your brave indian troops there to help them from all sort of attacks lol
