  It was just a few months ago that the first A-29 Super Tucanos touched down in Afghanistan, and a new video of live fire drills gives us a rare look at the Afghan pilot's progress since then.
  
  
  As part of NATO's Operation Resolute Support to provide support and security to the Afghan National Government in the face resurgent terrorist groups like the Taliban and Al Qaeda, the US has provided A-29 light air support planes to the fledgling Afghan Air Force.
  
  Throughout the video, you can hear US Air Force trainers instructing the Afghan pilots.
  
  The A-29s in the video are firing off rockets, as well as the .50 calibre guns.
  
  The A-29s sent to Afghanistan are US made, designed specifically for counter insurgency and are super versatile.
  
  The planes have five hardpoints on each wing and can carry up to 3,300 pounds of additional ordinance, like AIM-9X missiles, rocket pods, 20 mm cannons, smart freefall bombs, and even air-to-air missiles, according to IHS Jane's.

The Problem with Pakistan army is political government is not supporting zarb a azam and the other thing is Pakistan has to closed border in such a way that no one can enter from Afghan to Pakistan without our permission. We need to build wall when i spoke to some people they told me the terrain has mountains not possible why its not possible to build a wall on Mountains ? Afghanistan cannot be trusted. It is an enemy country. It is currently infiltrated with Indian terror consulates which train suicide attackers against Pakistan. Pakistan should repatriate Afghan refugees who also pose a huge security risk for Pakistan. Afghan soil is also used to create bloodshed in Balochistan. Until India keeps using Afghanistan as a terror launch pad against Pakistan there can be no peace between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Don't lecture me on where I am sitting. Don't lecture me on my patriotism. Pakistan is my home country and even my children belong there. So, you keep your Afghan views to yourself.

Having said that, of course we aspire good relations with Afghanistan, but not at the cost when this country openly provides safe havens and sanctuaries to India. Don't tell me that you don't. Just clean up the sanctuaries. We'll talk about peace when you are sincere.

The only one who needs peace is Afghanistan . Pakistan has done fine with or without without peace in your country . It's your loss not ours . I have been following your media for some while and they propagate nothing but hate towards us while forgiving all that PK has done for you guys be it free education here , scholarships , free access to cancer hospitals with free treatments or $ 500 million investments inside Afghanistan ?. Compare that with PK media where either there is no mention of Afghanistan or if there is ever at all its something not 100 % negative like the Afghan media does.

Solve your 1000 year old tribal conflicts , hate between pashtun , tajik , uzbek and 70 % of your problems are solved . Your GDP has declined from $ 20 billion to 17 and GDP per capita from $600 to 527 according to latest IMF figures . You need Pakistan on your side so that Afghanistan can make progress . Pakistan will continue to progress with or without a friendly Afghanistan so its your loss really . Pakistan is going to be a top 20 economy in coming decade , part of Next eleven countries so it would be beneficial for the people on your side to remain friendly to us .

First step for that will be telling your media to educate Afghans about Pakistan and stop telling them tales from 5000 years ago or telling them that Attock or Peshawar is a part of Afghanistan . If Pakistan wanted it can block the Torkham border and your already starved people will starve more but PK doesn't do that . If PK wanted to dent afghanistan it would have done it long time ago by just blocking the trade route and depriving you guys of everything .

How can one have everlasting peace if they dont even recognize the border between our countries? I used to sympathize a lot with Afghanistan but have realized with time that they have dug the well they are stuck in themselves. Yes other countries have used them and deteriorated the situation, but the unmaking of their country is their own fault no matter how much they blame other countries. When they accept this fact that the world and its border do not exist in the 1800s anymore, then there might be a chance for "everlasting peace". However as long as they de jure claim our lands, there can quite simply be no real peace, since at any chance they get they will stab us in the back to get "their" land "back". The land and its people they had no problem handing over to the British legally and officially.

This is the bone of contention between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

If Afghan security forces are becoming stronger and defending Afghanistan why is it a bad thing? They can take anyone's help they want? Or do you still treat them as your own backyard for the 'strategic depth'.
