2nd Defense Exhibition in Azerbaijan, will start on September 27th and last until 30th

Russia will demonstrate over 300 types of weaponry at the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition

Some enterprises will reportedly bring to ADEX-2016 full-scale models of weapons and military equipment, including the Metis-M1 anti-tank missile system, the Krasnopol-M2 high-precision artillery system, missiles for the Pantsir-S1 air defense systems and the modernized T-72 tank.

The second international military exhibition ADEX-2016 will be held on September 27-30 in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku. More than 200 companies from 30 countries are expected to take part in the expo.

First Azerbaijani manufactured armored vehicles to display its products at ADEX 2016

ZCAN, a joint venture representing both Azerbaijan and Canada within the security and defense sectors, will display its line of armored vehicles at the second annual Azerbaijan International Defence Industry Exhibition (ADEX 2016) in Baku on 27-30 September 2016.

The Company informed that AZCAN specializes in the design and production of a wide range of armored vehicles including SUVs, cash-in-transit trucks, armored personnel carriers and other special purpose military and civilian vehicles.

For its armored vehicles, AZCAN offers special applications and tactical equipment including large spectrum chemical protection, integrated remote weapon control systems, advanced drone and fire detection devices, remote explosives signal jamming and a wide range of riot control and crowd dispersal solutions. AZCAN’s armored vehicles are engineered to provide the utmost level of protection to their operators and passengers as well as meet the highest international standards due to their first-class assembly, certified armor and modern electronic components.

Russian warship planned to visit Baku

small missile ship “Uglich” will pay a visit to Baku under the leadership of the commander of the Caspian Flotilla Rear Admiral Sergey Pinchuk.

Command and the military staff of the warship will lay wreaths and flowers at the tomb to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and visit the Alley of Martyrs during the visit.

Within the scope of the visit, Russian delegation planned to meet with the command of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, to visit the Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev as well as to attend the 2nd Azerbaijani International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2016.

It is also planned to organize a walk in Baku for the military personnel of the warship to be acquainted with cultural and historical monuments as well as an international friendly soccer meeting.

The visit will last until September 30th.
