Addressing the Widening Gap between India / Pakistan for Armored Machines

T90 tanks are not easy to destroy by Anti tank guided missiles as this is tested in Syria

the video is different than your claim.
The ATGM scored a direct hit on the fronter sights area of the turret and rendered the tank useless and you can see the crew escaping right after.
You can't expect the tank to be blown to shreds with any hit on its frontal composite armor. At best, the tank eends up with blown up sensors and a stuck turret and that's enough to call it a kill...

.
it may not be destroyed but crew may escaped it due to fear that another missile may hit it and if shotra is enabled the missile may be deviated like in video 2

mechanized infantry and highly mobile formations with proper air cover are required, especially in the south, from Bahawalpur to Thar. arm them with ATGMs and Air defence systems, and they will make short work of the armour like the US army did in first gulf war.

what happens when shtora is armed but there is a mass attack? how successful will it be? also, recently a POF vid was uploaded here on the forum in IDEAS section which depicted an anti-tank mine that can actually sense the type of incoming vehicle, that is a neat weapon to have in the arsenal as well.

.
may be it is but we currently lack in high quality of sensors technology and such mines are in use by u.s and many other countries in land as well as sea

@Irfan Baloch ur assumption is that IA will be the one attacking and PA will defend. what if Pakistan decided to attack first ? Like 65 or 71 ? 3:1 ratio will still be applicable ?

for those who believe that MBT are obsolete do they consider Army ( infantry at least) to be obsolete as well ? and its all about Air War ?

the point isnt that they are already in use with US or other countries. the point is that Pakistan has ways other than ATGMs to counter tanks. and who said that the sensors being used were of third rate quality?

Well at high level if we imagine 1 Tank below equal to 100 Tanks even then you can see the massive difference
in mechanize division

And yes the Nuke is cure to every thing however , still the conventional capabilities should be still at certain level

If anyone still has doubts, Add "Nasr" . Game Ove

You are very good at anticipating; definitely the weapons developed for purely defence purpose are not only to showcase; when situation will require their use they will be used.

PKR has fallen above 30pc in last one year. Major Pakistan's defense stuff comes from import. This devaluation of pkr will seriously hurt the important of defence equipment. On other hand ,India is increasing indigenization. Many sam and other systems comes at a very cheap rate. Unless Pakistan increases defense budget, substantially, gap is unlikely to decrease.

We didn't used tanks in kargil..

Officially... You were not there...
As soon as Kargil is discussed... my anger for Pakistani elite just reach the height... THOSE USELESS THUGS left the brave-hearts at the mercy of Enemy... Army regulars were let to die like STATELESS ACTORS... PROUD SOULS must be feeling cheated in HEAVEN...

On topic... wars are not fought on papers... on field, sometime weaker stuns the MIGHTY Goliath...

Mass produce LG Baktar Shikan in development.

Just imagine... a cargo of Baktar Shikan headed towards border is bombed by enemy aircraft... and to halt further production and supply... factories and depots are bombed...

Someone from Indian army told me that if we are ready for nuclear war with Pakistan... only then we should think about conventional war... Otherwise, Modi G is already doing a great job...

To maintain a strong army you need strong economy... and to defend strong economy you need strong army...

MONEY...

some tank kill nomenclature ;-

F kill = fire power kill / also mission kill
sensors, machine guns, sometimes the main gun are out

M kill = mobility kill
tank tracks are shot rendering it immobile ( even the best protected tanks have not figured this out SOMME + 100yrs) .

K- kill = catastrophic kill / KOed
doesnt need much explanation really

-----------------------------------------

i have repeatedly mentioned empirical evidence from ukraine/ syria / yemen as a testament to the fact that armored warfare is thing of the past

ukraine :-
DPR paramils and russian volunteer fanboys despite being equipped with T 80s failed to break past Ukrainian lines on their own.
the reverse was true for Ukrainian armored thrusts into rebel territory . Russian arty and su 25s made a fine job to stop them even getting close to rebel lines .

syria :-
one of the largest armored forces in middle east. got bogged down chasing rebels in suburbs. the burning syrian tank videos on youtube ? anyone ?

it was only after russian air support that Jaish al arbi suri armor able to do anything

---------------

in armored warfare, seeing first is winning half the battle already. are the def.pk boys telling me that tanks could just roll across steppes ( like in france 1940 ) without being picked by toy UAVs and ATGM teams ( very cheap to mass produce and deployed ) ?

cost of 1 x t 90 tank ? vs cost of 4 Baktar shikan rounds

my money is on the BS team ..........................................

end..........

Well it is about command.
A true soldier always follows his commands.it's there duty.

IA armor will roll across punjab and PA ask their logistics to send a truck load of BS rounds

superb....................
