I agree. Here only the filthy rich are involved in the stock exchange.Unless people can buy stocks easily via normal "Banks" online banking , its useless
MSCI Pakistan ETF , is fund in USA setup to invest in Pakistan for limited companies in Pakistan
Stock is trade under word "PAK" on US stock exchange
See listing of companies
MSCI Pakistan ETF | Global X Funds PAK
The system in Pakistan is so complicated a normal person can't buy anything
Western Banks the stock purchase is so easy , you can get any stock , sell any stock in 2-3 clicks
not sure about 'western' system, but in India its quite easy to open a acount (DEMAT account) to trade. The pakistani stocks are not very high in value , infact quite cheap , however their purchase and selling is quite complicated
In western society , the process is very simple for ordinary man/women which is why many working folks invest in corporations and yeild the rewards of investment
I went to Karachi stock exchange tried to understand how I can buy their process was so complicated , you need to open bank account in Pakistan do this and that appy for some permit and then deal with stock broker lol, have to convert you money in Rupees like why would I convert my money into rupee considering the rupee falls in value every god damn day
I was like forget it ...
Went to Western bank , 1 hour visit , the lady explained me system , opened account I can move funds between normal account and investment account and I can see all stock values "REAL TIME" purchase anything I want any company I want 5 Min
I can buy stock in any company in China in 5 min trading on US exchange
Our Sher asks , hum investment lainge ? lol sorry the banking system in Pakistan is too slow and lacks behind in services (online services to consumers)

It take at least a week or more to open though but many banks/brokering house can do it for you so not much of an hassle.
once its opened you can trade it to your heart's content using online portal of your bank/brokering house.
And yes, your money has to be in rupees.
I doubt any Indian stock exchange will respond to any retail investors lolz.Which is similar to Western Banks
Pakistani stock exchange I sent them an email about information and go no response

Everything has to be done with brokers and sub brokers. You cant interact with exchange (buy/sell) directly, its not even allowed in USA as far as I know.
ya I know. All you need is a decent brokering house which gives you a good online portal that makes trading easy. Settlement is done in T+2 in India. There are brokers , but the process is hidden , you just do 2-3 clicks from your online system and background stuff you don't need to worry about , you get an update on purchase in few hours and settlement in 3 days

Sir When it will launch the Pakistan Stock Exchange. No sir, it's quite easy to invest in stocks. Just go to any broker, open account and done.
It's pretty similar everywhere around the world.
The stock exchange is not going to help you, the brokers will.
