Abdul Kalam is Fine, Says His Office -The New Indian Express
“We have received many calls and someone is playing mischief. Dr Kalam is back from London on Saturday (May 17) and he got on to business as usual the very next day. We understand some SMS messages are doing the rounds saying that he is sick. Do not believe in these roumours. We have received several calls in the morning,” Prasad told over the phone from Delhi. He said the origin of the message has been being tracked to Mumbai.
He said Dr Kalam has been busy addressing a student’s meet since Monday morning. “He is currently engaged in an intense discussion with a group of students at the conference hall. There are some meetings scheduled in the evening as well,” says Prasad.
The former President resides at No 10, Rajaji Marg in New Delhi and is active as ever replying to hundreds of emails on a daily basis. He has been teaching and touring since demitting office as the President in July 2007.
