No media channels is talking about its own exit polls from yesterday looks like they dont completely thrust their own surveys and are afraid of loosing credibility if actual results dont match with their predictions.

well BJP's internal survey is saying win in 34 seats........and close second in around 10 seats..where they have a chance....and lose in other seats......so BJP is also considering a slim chance on its victory ......wonder was that the reason why they deployed all ministers and over 120 MP's in small delhi elections

also regarding free water................last time when AK presented budget .....it showed only 50 crore are needed for water subsidy .....and 300 cr for electricity.

350 cr is not a big deal considering budget of delhi is over 40,000 cr.

More over he always increased the revenue by 1000 cr during his tenure. So even if he spent 350 crs on subsidy it is still 650cr profit. I dont think that is wrong economics. I think he did wonderful job in that way until someone contradicts on 1000cr revenue.

That is a Gross Generalization. I hardly believe people in delhi voted because of freebies. They voted because of corruption free administration they had realized in 49 days of AAP government. Either in favor or against, but freebies is not at all an agenda for voting.

Also, from providing free services point of view, I believe these are something government should be providing especially essential services like Water, roads, public transportation etc etc. Government can collect taxes and then use those taxes to provide these services. There are numerous examples in the world where government provide services free or highly subsidies for example health care etc. Just putting money tag on every thing like American way is not always the perfect way.

Even USA govt spends a lot in public facilities, almost 60 percent of total healthcare spending in USA is by the govt.

Its just our neo capitalists who think crony capitalims will make India a super power.

After the rants of the Sangh Parivar and BJP MLA's - from asking all Hindus to produce a minimum of 4 children, 'Ghar Wapsi' to return all converts back into the Hindu fold, saying that all who don't vote for the BJP are 'haramzadas', that every Indian was a Hindu 1500 years ago and so will be converted back to Hinduism by 2020 and so on has pissed off the people especially since no action was taken against these turds thereby indicating that the BJP seconds these shenanigans.

Unless the Saffron Brigade including the RSS shuts the fuk up, BJP will continue sinking faster than the Titanic. I think it's the end of the road for them unless they start afresh by pressing the Ctrl-Alt-Delete button.

BJP needs to do a very deep self introspection. Delhi results may not be that hampering to their modi wave but it will surely slows down their pace of achieving congress free India.

yeah i saw his first ever interview on sanghi news channel ( read zee news) .......he made fun of Zee news and answered all questions and propaganda of BJP with calm.

In australia .....if u dont have a work......govt pays u 160 $ a week ............when a child is born .....govt pays u money for proper care of child

there is a lot of anti-incumbency against the badals in punjab , almost every other punjabi i meet is seen to be criticizing akalis as a rogue party . They won by a whisker last time against congress so i am predicting a congress victory this time around in punjab , AAP would miss their star campaigner in punjab (kejriwal) since he would be CM of delhi thus it won't be that easy run for AAP. Punjabis right now seem to be fed up with the badals & somehow want them out so congress leadership won't be a factor here i guess .

I agree aap right now needs to concentrate on delhi and develop their model of governance but its ideology is no way regional , it has a lot of scope to spread its wings in entire india . We can say DMK(tamil oriented) , akalis or sp , rjd are regional parties but AAP will emerge as a major national party , might even go on replace congress as the real challenge to BJP considering the leadership of congress .

I think if AAP wins Delhi, Punjab is vunerable next year to be with AAP...Let us the people who see the good things for my country wins...Good time ahead for India...

yeah 160$ per week is a big amount as such ...............Delhi is one of the biggest city in India .......with considerable good infrastructure ......as compared to rest of India.....if socialist agenda has to be started , it should be from Delhi .....

its not like Delhi needs money to build Dams or nuclear plants.......nor they can be built in delhi.......giving away subsidy of 500 cr or so wont affect the govt

AAP is a good party, but it needs to mature a little bit. There rise is good for Indian democracy, we desperately need an alternative to congress and BJP. For now Modi as PM and AAP at local level is a good combination. We need not so corrupt people in local assemblies at municipal corporation and district level. However for national level we need someone who has good experience in politics and is a bit cunning, which AAP right now is not.

I am always of the view, that AAP kind of experiment should start and happen in Delhi. Being from Delhi I have seen the ground situation. People are always of the view, Modi in Center, AK in state. People have seen the way government offices, officers, etc have started behaving properly. I have heard of incidents where in all the touts just ran away from RTO. Hardly any one can be spotted and that too when AK just took the charge. No action was initiated or taken by him against them. See this is what administration should be like.

Completely agree, In Navi Mumbai it is not as bad as Delhi but we do need a break from NCP. Although I must give credit to them that NMMC (Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation ) does function quite good. Though I would like to see AAP in NMMC to root out corruption.

What I mean is right now Modi is the correct candidate as a PM, as he is not corrupt by himself, and knows politics very well, like how to get things done........he has a lot of experience,once AAP matures and has lots of experience under their belt from developmental work done in state and local level, then they would be perfect for the national arena.

AAP successfully converted the "bhagoda" into a "bechara",The sole person going from one Jhuggi Jhopri cluster to another and promising a pakka makan to them within 5 yrs when get abused ppl don't like it.BJP failed at every point in time of election campaign, they failed to create a positive campaign,Kiran bedi was like what Rahul Gandhi is for congress,they ran away from debate,they didn't publish manifesto,biggest issue they failed to deny rumors of govt services age reduction after it happened in haryana .I'm yet to see a person who didn't vote for BJP bec of modi's suit prices even the AAP supporters don't target modi they target the issues of lower middle class Water, Electricity they do positive campaign which worked.Doubt it will be 55 but AAP will win, their support base is very volatile if they don't get what is promised expect reaction & to counter that AAP may resort to dharnas ,i hope AAP do very well & fulfill most of their promises without creating nuisance.

No one is against subsidies but since when did questioning untargetted subsides makes one crony capitalist ?,Since when did ppl living bungalows worth 30 crs need subsidy on electricity & free water ,remember delhi has highest per capita income in the country.?

Those countries have money to fund such massive welfare programs we dont. The amount of subsidy provided on essential items is more than enough any attempt to further increase it even a little forget te massive ones promised by AAP will be unnecessary bane on economy.

Dunno why delhi being the smallest and least powerful state(in terms of administrative powers) is given so much ridiculous amount of media attention compared to many bigger states. As a matter of fact Budget Mumbai Municipal Coorporation is greater than the State Government of Delhi. Too much noise about nothing.
