1) The Lynching incidents happened in Dadri and HP are condemn able and no civilized person will do those kind of things, This is a failure of Political leadership, Law and Order. This type of incident happened in the past also.

2) Regarding the social media and public outburst against certain minority, they are calling this intolerance

I am discussing the second part. The intolerance is a reactionary thing happening because of the recent happenings in Middle east and other places including India. The guys who are commenting about intolerance do know why this is happening in India and they are hypocrites.

The popular view of Indians on PDF is not equivalent to majority opinion of Indians in general. The disproportionate media coverage and some unpardonable and unjustifiable incidents should not be allowed to shape the narrative.

The issue here is of media shaping the story - one doesn't realise that attention heaped on the isolated acts of terror within India is taken as validation by saffron terrorists. Starve them of attention and they would go back to the rat-holes.

The common India is peace leaving, tolerant and very busy with trying to earn the living - religion though important is hardly an influencing factor in their day to day actions. Millions of Hindus interact daily with Millions of Muslims and conduct commerce - had there been an actual case of popular intolerance such would not have been the case.

The difference is people now got a reason to vent out their frustration. If the same has happened in Congress rule people would have not reacted like what they are doing now.

no, the accusations are fair. When azaruddin tried to claim the minority victimization card during the match fixing scandal, his bluff was called. Right now the criticism is fair. Congress at least condemned and reigned in a lot of trouble makers. Not the case with BJP.
