Right now our country is spending more money than it makes, that is why we are in financial tatti. It needs to both make more money and spend less Money. TV adverts as government propaganda is a waste of taxpayer money.
Secondly the state already owns a channel (PTV) where they can do advertising for free. Thirdly this government regularly is tweeting about policies from official accounts. Finally the government is regularly doing press conferences and interviews to broadcast its achievements.
What I said was not a proposal but an observation of actual strategy currently being implemented by the government.
As for jobs being lost. Firstly we are in a capitalist world and part of the free market economy. Any business is responsible for its own profits not the taxpayer. There is the basic law of supply and demand. If previous governments were stupid enough to pay billions of rupees a year to bribe the media than that is thier shortcoming. This government has better sense, they will not supply cash, because they don't need lifafa journalists.
If people want to make money they should get a real job. Become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, work in finance or IT, there will be plenty of work. If you study journalism and art and your job is gossiping like a bad woman, then you can't expect it to last forever. The journalists who have lost thier jobs can eat from the lifafas of haram money they earned.
The job cuts are non political. They are supply and demand.
