Guys, Media collusion with ruling govt is no more a hidden news, but when its affects the thinking of people then its a matter of grave concern.
Pls have a look on the chain of events on 17th March
1. 17th March 2011, morning The Hindu came up with the wiki leaks revelation on CASH for Vote scam of 2008 when UPA bought MP's to save the govt.
The public perception in India is also the same that there were horse trading. But no proof found.
2. All the electronic news channel including Times now and CNN -IBN went on to report this news heavily, its 2 hr before the Parliament is yet to begin.
3. Though it was a big news for the Opposition to raise it in Parliament, I heard the anchors of Times - now reporting that the BJP will not raise this issue in Parliament, and the times now was quoting the insiders of BJP as reference to this news.
4. Similar rhetoric were told by CNN-IBN also that BJP will not raise this issue in parliament.
5. BJP did raise this issue in parliament vociferously and the Parlaiment was stalled for the whole day.
Now ..I am just amused that why did Time now went on to report the news from BJP side that BJP will not raise this issue in Parliamnet.
This raises many questions
1. Was there an attempt to dissuade BJP from raising wiki leaks revelation in Parliament ?
2. Was the media guided by UPA to air this speculative news to lower down the issue of wiki leak revelation.
3. Overall is the media collusion with UPA govt is quite visible ?
Pls provide your valuable comments and lets have a constructive debate here.
