Pakistani cities are anicient there is no arguing that, but unlike most countries we let our cities grow uncontrollably. The old cities and building started to look like absolute sh$holes and slums. This following concept, controls mostly all the problems these cities face.
Traffic
Uncontrolled construction
Lack of but not limited to, greenery, dedicated commercial areas, proper street management, control over noise and car pollution, etc

I think Cars are the worst thing to happen to humanity they pollute and they destroyed our cities we should build our cities without cars like they doing it in Spain or the sustainable city in Dubai or something

i think there was no proper planning.look at the population of major cities.no trees in karachi.more commercial projects in karachi.satellite view of karachi tells you the entire story.more traffic and no planning.you can see traffic congestion.we actually don't follow any model.we aren't ready to take responsibility.we can change our cities to modern cities if we follow some kind of concept.currently our biggest problem is population and it created more unemployment,more poverty.overall very bad.

Smaller/new cities need to be built and planned to bring populations out of large cities.

For this, modern transportation like bullet/ high speed trains need to be made from smaller cities to larger ones.

We should study China to understand what kind of infrastructure needs to be build to promote more spread out and healthy living space for our citizens.

The big elephant in the room for many years that was not discussed or was sorta implemented in Pakistans history is overpopulation and population control,my father grew up in the 1960s and 1970s in Lahore and remembers ads like this saying for families to have less kids and recalls awareness campaigns from that era as well the thing is we half assed in this overpopulation problem as other Asian countries like Singapore,South Korea,Malaysia,and later China and Iran implemented these policies look at them now I see most of their cities clean and well managed

All our cities need military rule in terms of civilisation nd cleanliness, cantonment areas are clean and good because it has rule over it . Other parts are left Allah k karam py . Our nation learns from dandaa.
