:: A precise use of advance and deadly military hardware in the 21st century is an art ::

Iran officially admits to unintentionally shooting down Ukraine’s Passenger Aircraft. Iranian AD operator had failed to identify the target.

In Feb 2019, India’s air force shot down one of its own helicopters as it engaged Pakistani fighter planes in an aerial confrontation in Indian occupied Kashmir (Jammu & Kashmir).

Now let’s observe the difference between an unprofessional and a professional Military force.

In Feb 2019, After the fake surgical strikes of the Indian Airforce at midnight (which has no evidence till to-date that they had killed 300 terrorists rather buzzing-out from the combat theatre after seeing the opponent force), the Pakistan military decided to choose the daytime for its air offense next day. Pakistan Airforce went into the Indian controlled territory and bombed their military installations, shot-down Indian jets in the broad daylight and took one of IAF pilots as POW.

In such an intense battlespace environment, without downing any civilian aircraft or engaging with any non-military targets, PAF successfully achieved all of its military objectives.

In Sept 2019, exactly before the Pakistani PM’s speech in the UNGA, Pakistan F-16 jets intercepted Delhi-Kabul Spicejet (126 passengers on-board). The Indian establishment through the aviation authority had deliberately assigned the civilian aircraft with a military call-sign that entered into Pakistani airspace (mother of all false-flag).

That would have been disastrous for Pakistan if its air defense had accidentally shot down the target in haste without properly identify it. But an alert Pakistan Airforce fighter intercepted the civilian aircraft and escorted it till the Afghanistan airspace. It was the professionalism of the PAF that not only just avoided the trap but also saved the lives of the onboard passengers (including Indians).

Another perspective

The United States has taken-out the top Iranian commander who had led all the major operations across the region for more than two decades. General Qasem Soleimani and his team six were the brainchild of all those strategies which were developed to counter the US, Saudi and Israeli influence and proxies in the region. With comparison to this level, Iranian strikes were just a face-saving for the Iranian regime. Americans have done critical and unbearable damage to Iran’s top military brass. It was indeed a big embarrassment for Iran. It’s the beginning of a new war in the region that is more dangerous than the existing ones. For the past four years, Iranian proxies were specifically targeting ISIS and Israel objectives under the command of Qasem Soleimani. In context to this, Israel main objective was to neutralize him. However, Israel was reluctant to do the job alone because of the fear of retaliation from Iran in the consequences of direct involvement. That was the core reason for utilizing US military power and resources. The United States should call back Its forces from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Also, other parties should immediately withdraw their support to mercenaries’ elements.

All nations are vulnerable to making mistakes, even the "mighty" US once shot down an airliner and much more. In the case of Iran, the chain of events that led to the incident has now been clarified and much of blame does not lie with the military, did you check what actually happened before trying to use that incident to include Iran in this article?

Anyway, Just because a nation e.g India makes an error that does not all of a sudden turn their military into an "unprofessional force". Mistakes happen. The defining factor here is consistency. If a military consistently makes such errors, then it merits being called unprofessional.

Lost more than your enemy air fleet (IAF crashes), fire in the nuclear sub, naval ship hits another one while docking etc, became a part of political gimmickry (BJP wing), the most funniest cartoonish Tri-chief(s) press conference in which presenting the wreckage pieces of ARRAM dick in the hands and telling the world oh fk man this is the evidence of F16s we have shot down, each month doing press conferences to justify their shit performance, badly ****** by sharing paintshop AWACS images... humiliated across the world, all the defense experts making fun of the Indian armed forces.... if this is your evaluation of declaring professional army then let us know what is "unprofessional".

Quite frankly the word "consistency" literally made for the Indian Armed forces.
"Consistently" lying
"Consistently" make gullible nation *******
"Consistent" in the air crashes
"Consistent" in naval accidents
"Consistent" in hiding casualties of the soldiers
name a few...

I am NOT Indian so none of that is relevant to me. I am addressing your Iran points.

No, you didn't respond to only Iran's related point. You specifically talk about pro and unpro mil..

I used India as an example, read my comment again and understand essence of the second part of my comment. I talked about consistency. I did not say whether the Indian military is or is not unprofessional, I simply declared what I believe to be the defining factor. I don't know much about the Indian army history, they may well have a consistent history of such failures.

My friend,
You may be right, they may satisfy that definition. I simply don't know their military enough to know. But I do know they were embarrassed by our Pakistani brothers in February. I sense a similarity between them and the saudis, i.e they have a lot of shiny toys but when it comes to using them?

.
when you use ground based airdefenses and sams there is always such risks, first measure for airdefense should be scrambling fighter jets to intercept enemy aircrafts, surface to air missiles should be used as a last line of defense for intercepting fighterjets, iran lacks proper airforce and rely completely on surface to air missiles for airdefense which is their weakness along with lack of proper training for using them properly

What happened in that incident was not the fault of the poor operator. The fault was on the people that refused to ground the civilians flight. The summary of what exactly happened has been posted, if you go in the Iranian section, you can find it.

.
if plane crashed due to hitting of ballistic missile then it was fault of pilot of plane but if it was shot down by airdefense then it was also due to lack of competence of iran airdefense forces

This is simply not the case here. I'll tag you in the Iranian section where the info is so you can see what I mean.

Your hopping around on this forum and spamming with nonsense doesn't change the 'Reality' and the reality is that Iran shot down and killed 176 innocent people due to its incompetence. Now suck on it.

You're the one that is spamming because at least I am trying to post the details of what actually happened. Yes, it was due to incompetence, but not the fault of the military. The fault lies with the individual(s) the decided not to grant the request for grounding of the airliners.

You may chose not to accept the actual details because it does not suite your narrative, but don't arrogate to yourself to think you're the one that is choosing what's real or not. Our jobs here should be to post the details etc, so what's your problem exactly?
