They say that love makes people do the strangest things. And not just in the movies that is.

This is one such story that occurred recently.

On March 11, a Pakistani man named Irfan Hakim Ali was on-board a plane going from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. He had boarded a flight with Shaheen Air and after it had already taken off from Lahore, Mr. Irfan forced it to land and he did it by throwing a tantrum.

The reason for the tantrum? He missed his wife and did not wish to go to Saudi Arabia but had the change of heart after the plane was already in the air.

Irfan, who hails from Sheikhupura, stood up on his seat and started screaming onboard the Shaheen Air flight, telling the passengers and crew that his wife had died and that he had to go back to Lahore.

As per existing protocols, planes can only do an emergency landing because of technical/medical problems or due to unruly passengers. In Mr. Irfan’s case, the crew and pilot were left with no choice but to take the plane back to Lahore.

Once the plane was back in the city, he confessed to the airport authorities that he had lied about his wife passing away.

Being a newly wed, he had just missed his wife too much and the prospect of leaving her for a job in Saudi Arabia was just too much to bear. Talk about the age-old adage that absence makes the heart grow fonder!

I don't blame him as it is hard especially for newly married. The only problem is the next time if someone else is really saying the truth no body will believe it because of him

This is not love..This is just selfishness and pure stupidity on his part..Breaking the protocols..Authorities should deal with him as per law ..or they should have told him the cost of delay he would have come to his senses
I don't blame him as it is hard especially for newly married
do this guy even know airline can sue him for damages amounting thousands of dollars if not millions for throwing this stupid tantrum.

hahaha.
Thats cute.
thats not cute its stupid. most of the time my friends and i hated our flight to saudi arabia just because of guys like him they don't know how behave and make everyone uncomfortable around them.
heck once a guy sitting beside me put everyone in the plane in danger by smoking in the toilet just because he couldn't control himself like this guy. jahil awam har jagha hamahra name khrab karwaney ka to jasey theka lia hoa hay inhon nay:mad:

No problem just send the bill for his misplaced loved and affection and his "love" will get cured. This is not acceptable...we have such mentally unstable and emotionally wrecked people..why could he not wait until he reached the destination and gracefully take the return flight.
