Yeah banned in India but not in Hinduism. That's because India claims to be a secular republic but it is one of the laws that is seldom implemented.

He must have done something stupid enough to land in jail..my cousin crashed while driving without license and killed a person..now he has to pay 150K for accidental death...part of it has been forgiven by victim family. 150K is the balance he must pay after majority of the penalty was forgiven by the victim and they did not demand imposition of death penalty as well.

Don't know how much truth, If shorta lock up a person for any violation , you will be lucky if out within few day or two. Or if he goes on vacation then say good bye to your freedom fro few months.

I lived in Saudi for 32 years, no shorta will lock you up without a reason and no shorta can keep you locked up indefinitely..I have been in fair share of trouble making an actually went to mutaween lockup twice, Shorta does not own the prison..stop reading ayatollah propaganda!
