David Bennett, 57, died Tuesday at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He was the first person to receive a heart transplant from a pig.

Not really. They managed to give him 2 months of additional life which was not possible before. With further advancement in this type of medical technology, life expectency can grow to 1 year first and than perhaps 4-5 years, which indeed will be a game changer.
