I was about to name Afghanistan..LOL..
Since when is Afghanistan India's neighbour though? Piyar barhnay say border nahi barh jaatay mere dost.
Pakistanis...
India shares a 106-km border with Afghanistan which people do not factor in, national security advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval said on Friday, hinting both at India's claim to Azad Kashmir and the threat that withdrawal of Nato forces from Afghanistan poses for internal security in India.

Indians......
Oh, I see. You must also avail visa on arrival facility from that border. I hear Indian trade with Afghanistan through the said border is really picking up. Great going guys, wonderful. I can see the opium coming from said border is doing wonders for you. Wish I could get that kind of crazy buzz.
BTW, its Gilgit Baltistan that shares a border with Afghanistan, not Azad Kashmir. And the said border entirely covers the Wakhan Nature Refuge which is unpopulated.
Gilgit Baltistan is part of Kashmir, which Pakistan is slowly trying to assimilate.

You know history as well.I don't want to reiterate same stories again and again.
After the defeat of the Sikhs in the First Anglo-Sikh War, the region became a part of the princely state called Jammu and Kashmir which since 1846 remained under the rule of the Dogras. The population in Gilgit perceived itself to be ethnically different from Kashmiris and disliked being ruled by the Kashmir state.[37] The region remained with the princely state, with temporary leases of some areas assigned to the British, till a rebellion, organized by commander Major William Brown of the Gilgit Scouts mutiny, overthrew Ghansara Singh, the Governor administering the region on behalf of the Maharajah of Jammu and Kashmir, on 1 November 1947.
After Pakistan's independence, Jammu and Kashmir initially remained an independent state. Later on 22 October 1947, tribal militias backed by Pakistan crossed the border into Jammu and Kashmir.[38][39] Local tribal militias and the Pakistani armed forces moved to take Srinagar but on reaching Uri they encountered defensive forces. Hari Singh made a plea to India for assistance and signed the Instrument of Accession.

Pakistan is slowly moving towards according GB the status of a province. The people of GB would consider it an affront if Pakistan was to try and consolidate it with Kashmir. The locals have a very strong sense of identity and take immense pride in the fact that they broke away of their own accord and effort to merge with Pakistan.
@WAJsal as a local can offer better insight into the matter than I or Wikipedia ever can. And I am someone who has lived there, served there and fallen in love with the place and people.
And yet that can't change nature of Kashmir dispute or Indo-Afghan Border..
Not in your delusional world where India is superpower 2020 and has a border with the USA with H-1Bs on arrival.
But on the map, totally different story. You're free to prove me wrong by crossing the border though. I promise to meet all the expenses of your trip should you succeed
In 2020,India will be superpower or not,it'll definitely fare better than Pakistan.
And in Map,106 KM Indian Afghanistan border exists.Only it is occupied by Pakistan illegally, which even UK has condemned.
By the way, thread is on Maldives. So rather making fool out of yourself, you should comment on the topic. For Indo-Afghan Border, one old thread already exists.
