If you want to understand a city talk to its ambulance and bus drivers, . This film offers a fascinating insight into the experiences of bus drivers in Karachi, demonstrating how public servants are often disrespected by those with power and wealth. Discussions also delve into law and order, corruption, fears of sectarian violence, as well as their views on democracy and Britain.
This film was made by the University of Karachi Visual studies department with the kind support of The Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development.

A fun question would have been "Do you follow traffic laws" and watch the hesitancy in the response.

"What are those?" would have been the answer. Tough as it is, the transport community is a mafia and as such are generally negligent about public safety. Individuals may care, but the rest of the owners and many of the drivers are mostly thugs and idiots who just learnt how to move a steering and shift gears.
