Can a molvi suspend nikkah ?

I think no one have the right/previlidge to suspend nikkah, unless partners break some rules (you know, aagy ky 2 dwaar pechy kay 2 dwaar ) . And as far as i know, attaining enemies function is not one of them.

The thing is keeping aside the law of Pakistan where does it provide a local cleric power, in Islam, to suspend nikahs.

Which hadees or ayat gives him such authority.


Arrest him and make sure that he is tried severely. Our society must be purged from these elements...

I wonder which ignorant folk would have fallen pray to this asshole of a person claiming to be a maulvi whatever, and thought of their nikah which is in front of God and not controlled or ruled over by any one else but God and between a husband and wife can be called off by an ignorant buffoon of a dastard.
