A Chinese old man - Hu Jintao.

We talked about him at a friend's party. even after he retired for 6 years. We finally remembered how much he contributed to the country. But it's awkward，during his 10 years as President (2003-2013)，many of us have laughed at him incompetent, weak... but in fact, his job was not easy. he manages the world's largest population. and he must ensure the country's rapid development. his mission is to lead the country to prosperity and strength. we say that he is weak and incompetent. but we should admit that the country he leads is not weak and incompetent.

Many young chinese don't know Mao Zedong and forget Zhou Enlai. and who is Deng Xiaoping? They are not interested in modern politics at all. But I hope they remember... Now you can love Cai Xukun, you can love Lu Han, you can love Wu Yifan, you can love Zhang Yixing, you can love TFBOYS.... But I hope they remember that an old man is worthy of their love.

You forget Zhao Zhiang. I met him long back and an amazing respectful and thoughtful person who has been removed from history books in China. A great credit to the China for his contributions with Deng Xioping.

ITs funny you posted about Hu Jintao because after Jiang Zemin he was the next Chinese president i had a unique interest in. He seems handsome and his face doesnt reveal much,which i find interesting as a politician.
I did read that Xi Jinping thought Hu was weak because he was soft on army corruption, and maybe thats true. No one is perfect or without flaws.

But you are absolutely correct that Hu did alot for CHina. Hu JIntao even built the foundation Xi Jinping is building on now!!

I hope Hu can retire in peace. He worked hard for China.

Maybe Hu Jintao is weak about army corruption. But this does not deny his ability.

Think about China's first aircraft carrier, 054, 052. and J-10, Y-20, J-15.....
