NEW DELHI: A clutch of organisations are getting together to organise a mega 'Run for Own History' campaign in Delhi to push for revision of ancient Indian history and "correct distortions introduced by leftist historians". 'Run for Own History' is likely to be organised in the Capital towards the year end or on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12, convenor Lalit Mishra told ET.

I just cant understand one thing , why to blame ours own historians instead of making effort to show the correct history ??

Now if Indian historians will clash among themselves in the name of leftist and right winged , what will happen after 50 years ?

I was thinking that you are pointing out towards the Aryan Invasion theory which has been debunk by Indian Historian.

Debunked by some Indian and Western historians .
But there are still some historians in India and West , That teach this false history .

I am doing Sociology from IGNOU .
In first year I read about Aryan Invasion theory as true history

AIT is Wrong and many things like that are wrongly taught to Kids .

So why does ICHR have a monopoly on historical research? Why not give grants to historians of all persuasions and their work peer reviewed so that the truth will come out automatically?

The whole historical research gang in India seems a den of thieves and corruption, we need some fresh air. These people may be right , who knows, but nobody trusts them because they are seen as crooks and left wing bigots.
