From the outsider POV, i think the biggest achievement of India is its consistent foreign policy and its approach towards the rest of the world which by the way have started to bear fruits for India.

For eg.?

. .
For e.g how US is opening up to India, nuclear tech, new weapons to name a few.

No, I don't think it's because of India's policy over the years, rather a knee jerk reaction of US towards Post Cold war era & Rise of China.

. .
Our best achievements are yet to come.

We are just laying foundations for what is to come.

. .
Being united is our biggest achievement as of yet sadly

that woudl be ?

Some that I can think of:

Achieve the glories that our great ancient civilization is entitled to
Be a Jagat Guru
Give every Indian citizen opportunities in life to be what he/she can be
Be a force for good in the world
Be the innovation leader in the world

Many more can be added.

. .
This statement coming from you? i thought you were his biggest follower:)

It's only now after the elections that I realize that we have made a grave mistake!!!!

Hum Indians APNE ACCHEY DIN...........KHA GAYE!!!! :cray:

PTI had peshawar canidate and he lost because people thought he wasn't a pathan

Caste , religion, region based politics are common in India too. It doesnt mean people hate or want to separate from one another.

In india, politican don't use it for votes as vastly as in Pakistan. We can say don't vote him, he's not punjabi. Only i can understand punjabi. Next thing is, he's same corrupt politician and in power again.

I dont know how vast it is in Pakistan but caste and religion plays important role in my state. (Telangana former Andhra Pradesh). For example Owaisi brothers win in only Muslim majority areas (despite being corrupt). Jagan mohan reddy won 60+seats (despite being most corrupt politician in India went to jail on corruption charges because of his caste and his fathers legacy).

But the thing is we have 60+ years of democracy and more elections than Pakistan. So extreme corrupt and inefficient politicians gets knocked out in next coming elections. So, give it a time and people will come to know who are more corrupt and who are less corrupt. Bread& butter wins on all these factors like caste, religion.

Also you've more casts, religion etc. So it's hardee for nation to break. But Pakistan has 4 provinces, so it is easy to break up. I'm not saying it'll break up soon, but current policies will break it in future decades.

Look at baloch, it provides so much gas and has gawadar, yet many wars they've seen and missing people. For them, they can sustain themselves because they're near ocean, have gawadar and gas.

Nothing breaks countries but policies. Its true India had democracy for long and people have become mature. Sadly, our country is still plaggued with mid term election, calls for martial law etc

Knee jerk reaction and US?? no, they never do that.

It's a well thought out policy shift and all because of what we achieved over the last decades.
