At least three people were injured on Sunday after major clashes broke out between Turks and Kurds in Tokyo. The clashes came as around 600 people gathered at the Turkish embassy to cast their votes in the upcoming Turkish general elections.

Ahahahaha even in japan :p:

. . . . .
600 guys "brawling" and only 3 got injured? Were they playing dolls?

The news media is trying to be sensational. There were 600 protesters, and a brawl broke out, probably 15-20 took part. Of that number, about 3 were seriously injured.

they are messing the whole world!

Turks in Japan work in the engineering field; they're very skilled labor and expats in our country. Lots of Turks in Saitama actually. In fact one of major mosques in Tokyo is actually Turk-inspired.

hehe.

Maybe many muslims working in Japan but I heard preaching of Islam is highly restricted by the govt.

Japan is a liberal democracy, you can believe in whatever you want in Japan. People have the right to believe whatever they want, worship who ever they want. This is guaranteed by Constitutional Law.

Japan is a Secular Liberal Democratic Progressive Society.

Remember that.

Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, Rastafarri , doesnt matter. So long as you pay taxes and obey the laws. No problem!!

Generally speaking, Japanese don't like to live with Foreigners,so your immigration law is so strict that not so many foreigners could fit it.Many muslims live in Japan are forbiddened to get a japanese nationality like for ever.
You just want to say something nice, but what you have said is far from reality.Democracy don't have much to do with whether your country and people like muslims or not.

Yes Japan is generally very tolerate when it comes to religion, but the govt is making some exceptions to Islam, for example there were over a dozen registered Imams living in Japan in the 90s but now there are only three, govt is also making things harder for muslims to build more mosques.

Not saying muslims in Japan dont enjoy religious freedom, but in a way Japan is more tolerate even to some of its homegrown cult than to Islam.

But I guess after seeing things happening in Europe and the unfortunate beheading of two citizens by IS,no one can really blame Japan for being Islamphobic.

Following the ISIS still in Middle-East, the Kurds will get stronger & a new agent get supports from Top5. That's a interesting game. :coffee:
