$600 billion To counter China, US to fund G7 initiative in India

I know.
I am not saying non-alignment is bad, quite contrary. All i am saying is that the west really wouldnt care if youre non-aligned or not, because the west see india as a potential balancer against China. That concern triumph everything else. Just sayin, America became ally with commie China just in order to contain USSR.
That's why I felt funny when I saw a guy attributed the credit to India dipomacy. India does need to thank China.

Apart from containing China, we are in negotiations with the West for a comprehensive free trade agreement. The India-EU merchandise trade has registered an all-time high value of $116.36 billion in 2021-22 with a year-on growth of 43.5%. India’s export to the EU jumped 57% in FY 2021-22 to $65 billion. India has a surplus trade with the EU.After signing free trade deals with the United Arab Emirates and Australia this year, we're preparing to conclude two key trade pacts with the Israel and UK. The FTA talks with Canada and the US are also underway

Where is the surplus from. I heard India sold Russian oil to EU with very high price.

It is. So was China. Things progress with time and good leadership
I don't remember China claiming to be a "super power" when its per capita GDP was only $2000.

but, the poor and backward third world countries still pay $70billion to China every year. How do you explain that? You bought a $70billion ventilator?

In fact, in a recent editorial article here in SA newspaper, I read the view that India and China are playing the world against each other. Now with the G7 decision to boost the Indian economy to "counter China", and India's alignment to China via BRICS that does seem to be a plausible opinion. A few skirmishes here and there, no outright war and despite the sabre rattling a healthy trade relationship between India and China, I also believe that some nations are getting conned here :D
No, the Chinese don't want to compete with India. really I Swear. When the Chinese hear about "China India competition", in fact, the Chinese feel offended.

India has been a master at playing both the West and Russia since the fall of the iron curtain. All credits to Indian diplomacy. If India sufficiently develops its infrastructure, it will become a global powerhouse
India is a global powerhouse, you are certainly not from this planet.

India is not a muslim country. Muslims countries have only two options, either become puppet state or slaves.

Haha, I too would feel offended when People say India is competing with China. lol.

The West is trying to prop India to counter China. This was during the George w Bush presidency. What an idiot he was. He does not know how to do diplomacy.

No wonder why China strongly supports Pakistan military, economically, and in other sectors as well.
