Attari, Amritsar: Six people, including two women, were arrested at the Attari Railway station on Thursday while they were returning from Pakistan on the Samjhauta Express. The customs officials, who arrested them, said all six belong to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
The officials said 11 pistols were seized from them. The pistols were found concealed in the meat cutter machine along with 22 magazines, they added.
These people had gone to visit their relatives in Pakistan. Their identities are yet to be revealed, the official said.
