ISLAMABAD:

At least two civilians were killed and another eight injured as Indian troops resorted to ‘unprovoked’ firing in Harpal and Chuprar sectors along the Working Boundary (WB) late on Tuesday night.

According to the military’s media wing ISPR, Pakistan Rangers befittingly responded to the Indian firing.

At least six civilians have been killed, and 21 injured as a result of Indian violations in less than a week. “Another civilian Sikander from Sona valley who was injured at LoC yesterday succumbed to his injuries at CMH Kharian today,” said the statement.

India handed demarche over border killings

On Monday, two civilians, including a minor girl, were killed while seven others had sustained injuries as a result of the cross-border firing from the Indian side as the intermittent exchange of fire continued throughout the night.

Last week, a man was killed while five others — including three women — were injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC.

India’s deputy high commissioner summoned

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office summoned Indian deputy high commissioner after the ceasefire violation.

The FO asked Indian authorities to investigate into the matter and instruct its troops to respect the ceasefire.

‘Five Indian soldiers killed in retaliatory fire’

Meanwhile, in response to Indian firing, sources in the military said, Pakistani troops hit a number of Indian posts on the LoC and Working Boundary.

“Five Indian soldiers have been confirmed to have shot and four Indian posts [were] destroyed at Bhimber sector

Ready to die prepared for that's the military motto which should be adopted by people living near borders. The situation is becoming critically serious due to Moodi's extremist agenda and our own govt's mysterious behavior. At least PA under Raheel Sharif is ready as well as majority of Pakistanis.

LOC sae yaad aya Can any member tell me what happened to the Indian soldier which was caught by Pakistan army ?

Don't understand as to why there are civilians living so close to the border?

Because government of both countries have failed them.

I dont know whats going on India giving numbers of Pakistani casualties and Pakistan is giving number of Indian Casualties.
and both are denying each other claims :D :D , both are making fools of people

Perhaps it's time for Pak to activate NCC training once again as well setting defense committees in border areas including retired military personnel and young people.
Situation is critical and news of continuous Indian Mortar/Machine gun fire are coming since many days. I hope it's not too late and PML-N govt should open it's eyes and prepare people.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.....as the saying goes......
