Bye, bye BLA and other Baloch rebels. This is on top of the thousands already enlisted in previous drives i.e.last year and the during the 00's. Baloch boots have so far been instrumental in crushing the sardars and now this will be the final nail in their coffins.

Army induction purely on merit: Durrani

QUETTA, Jan 31 (APP) – Home Secretary Captain retired Mohammad Akbar Durrani has said that Army inducts youth across the county purely on merit, adding the Balochistan youth need awareness regarding the joining of Armed forces including the Pak Army.

Talking to media men after the concluding ceremony of pre-ISSB classes here at Quetta Cant, Home secretary dispelled the impression that the recommendation can get job for any individual in Army, as saying Army hails the talent and encourages those who meet the requirement.

“I myself and the serving Major General, the chief guest of the pre- ISSB ceremony were among those who attended the first pre- ISSB classes and are serving the county in our respective departments, he noted.

He added that Balochistan was rich in talent; the only need was the proper guidance and sufficient awareness to them.

He commended the efforts of Pak Army for imparting standard training to the youth of Balochistan that he termed would be beneficial during the selection in the Army.

I went to college with a few students from Quetta and they were intellegent and pariotic like any Pakistanis. We need to provde them equal opportunity so they can make themselves, their families, their cities, their province and Pakistan better. Good news.

This is very good news. There had been a similar article a few months ago, if not the same.

We need more youths from North and South Waziristan as well.

you'd be amazed the amount of resentment growing against the feudal minded nawabs.....

I think the murder of that Sindhi (lady) professor did manage to instill some shock into many Baluch -especially youths.

I think they do realize that the nawabs do want to keep them subjugated; actually the concerns some Baluch nationalists have about the Federation are interestingly enough the same concerns coming from the masses in every other corner of the country

the corruption and culture of greed have gone too far; and now, those who engage in it should ideally have their legs thrashed (my dictum)
