49th Anniversary of the Libyan Revolution Al Fateh

49 years ago, on the first day of September 1969, a group of Libyan military under the leadership of Muammar Gaddafi (born June 7, 1942 in Abu Hadi, Sirte , and martyred on October 20, 2011 , in Sirte, his homeland), the Al Fateh Revolution broke out, overthrowing the monarchy of King Idris (supported at the time by the major powers) and writing the most beautiful pages of human history in terms of valuing the people, distributing riches national solidarity among the population, of effective solidarity with the peoples fighting for liberation in various parts of the world, and achieving the best HDI (index that measures the standard of living) of the African continent.

Muammar Gaddafi chose a military career to gain support from the population and overthrow a corrupt monarchy that drained the country's wealth into a parasitic and anti-national elite. And as he stood out in the military academy, the young Libyan military man was promoted to official at age 23 and assigned to study in England, where he brought together the most expressive leaders of the Libyan Armed Forces to build the Al Fateh Revolution that liberated the country.

As soon as the revolution broke out, supporters surrounded the main foreign military bases stationed in the country and gave them 24 hours to withdraw. And they did so because the Libyan revolutionary people demanded it.

The early years of the revolution showed the world the grandeur of leader Muammar Gaddafi, a Bedouin of Sirte. He was received with honors by the immortal Egyptian leader Gamal Abdel Nasser, who called him "my son".Nasser is the founder of pan-Arabism that brought together honorable leaders of humanity like Hafez Al Assad, Yasser Arafat, Muammar Gaddafi and Nasser himself to fight against English and American imperialism in the 1960s and 1970s.

Until the year 1977 Gaddafi presided over the Council of the Revolutionary Command of Libya. He confiscated the assets of foreigners linked to the monarchy and nationalized foreign companies. In 1977 he became general secretary of the General People's Congress - a popular governmental organization representing the majority of the Libyan people.

Throughout its existence, Gaddafi fought for the liberation of the African people, supporting revolutions and wars where the Africans faced puppet governments of the imperialist powers of the USA, France and England. It has funded and supported revolutionary movements in various parts of the world. It built a popular government in Libya - the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Socialist Liberal - which guaranteed free education, health and housing for the entire population, and divided the wealth of oil among the population.

Gaddafi financed the ANC guerrilla group that liberated South Africa and was called a "brother" by Nelson Mandela, who was constantly visiting Libya.

Gaddafi's Libya was considered "the jewel of Africa and the Arab world," and for all these reasons was declared an enemy by the US government. US governments have repeatedly accused Libya of supporting terrorists, whereas in reality, the one who really promotes terrorism in the world to favor the arms trade is the US government and its accomplices, as evidenced by the war in Iraq, Syria , Afghanistan, Libya and many other countries.

Libya has awakened on the first of this month with demonstrations and pro-Qaddafi carreates in the main cities of the country. Thousands of Libyans took to the streets carrying the green flag of the Jamahirya, demonstrating to the world that the struggle continues after the country is invaded by the greatest military powers of the planet.

The Libyan people continue to struggle because this is the greatest legacy left by Muammar Gaddafi: to fight for the liberation and sovereignty of the country. Rebuild the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

None.

What's your point??

I will tell you a Secret as why and what happened to him.

He went full retard and full anti Pakistan.

So he and Bashar al-Assad went mad at the same time in 2011 ??

And how did he go anti Pakistan?? Unless you are talking about his Kashmir solution. But that was a neutral solution.

Q 1 : which local main groups lead the war against Qadafi ?
Q 2 : what are they now ? And where ?

Napster bhai, I myself am not that up-to-date on the current status in Libya. Give me a few days and I will give the current status.

Gaddafi was a good leader. The type of leader needed for a fractured society with all its fault lines of tribal, religious and ethnic differences. Too bad Democracy came calling. Wonder when Democracy will visit the Middle east sheikhdoms. When they are no longer useful I suspect.
