You're not allowed to have more than one meter. The more electricity you use the higher the charge is per unit.

You are charged based on your consumption i.e you will be charged more if you consume more units (price per unit)..You can bypass this by having multiple meters in which case your consumption and number of units will be spread across multiple meters and you will be charged less per unit .
