4 out of 5 Pakistanis say country headed in the wrong direction: survey

If people repeated rhetoric in Pakistan, 4 out 5 would be in favour of the government.
Well clearly the government is in power. Or did you miss that bit. Please stop talking....you are truly disappointing

They came in power 2 years ago. People change their opinions. Most professional jobs have 6 months probation period as well.

People have lost the confidence in the government.

Four out of every five Pakistanis believe that the country is generally headed in the wrong direction, the latest survey by research company IPSOS showed.
More than 1,000 people from all over the country participated in the survey which was conducted between December 1 and December 6, 2020.

The findings were released on Tuesday for the last quarter (Q4) of 2020 and compared people's responses from the same period a year ago.
The survey showed that last year, in the fourth quarter, 21% people believed that the country was headed in the right direction, while 79% thought the opposite.
This year has seen a very small improvement, with 23% saying they believe Pakistan is on the right track and 77% thinking it is not.

Financial situation
This year, 36% people said that their current personal financial situation is weak, 13% characterised it as strong while 51% said it is neither strong nor weak.
By comparison, last year, 38% had said their financial situation is weak, 5% had termed it strong and 57% had put it in between.
This indicates a slight improvement in personal finances with a 2% drop in the weak category and an 8% rise in the strong category.

Province-wise assessment
When a province-wise assessment was done, it was found that a “poor financial situation” is prominent across all the provinces.
Inflation ranked the highest among the top 4 contributors to the situation.
In Sindh, the second highest contributor was viewed to be unemployment (20%), followed by COVID-19 (17%) and poverty (16%).
In Punjab, 23% people felt the province’s poor financial situation stems from unemployement, 8% thought it was due to COVID-19 and 14% believed poverty has a role.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18% felt unemployment is the leading cause, 12% attributed it to COVID-19 and 8% felt it was plain poverty that was behind the province’s financial situation.
In Balochistan, 25% people responded by blaming unemployment, a mere 2% felt COVID-19 played a role, and 25% felt it was poverty that has led to the province’s dismal state of financial affairs.

But none of them came out to the PDM jalsa in Lahore so can we take this poll seriously ? Or is this funded by PDM?

Of course these are the 4/5 people who refuse to pay any sort of tax, who steal electricity and power from the govt, who can engage in any haram to fill their belly but will be the first hypocrit to call others unislamic.

That is the aqqat of the 4/5 people.

when they have this survey ? i should be join them

Brother sample of 1000 is not large enough so this is a fake survey of population of 220 million so looks like it part of the 5th generation war. Considering in Pakistan one can sit at home and ring around their friends, aunts and uncles and quota for 1000 people can be filled.
I guess your nephew was not part of that survey so better luck next time. 😂

Should people stop asking basic questions because it's repetition or monotonous?

Also if everyone in the society choose Maybach, that society is basically dead. Seems to me you want a materialistic society not a practical one. When there would be enough fathers with enough Maybach experience, they will recommend it to the ones they care for.

Culture puts teachers on a pedestal. If some exploit it, there are legislations for it.

And in the end you may have a point about repeating since you repeat your mullah rant more than villagers who rant against lesser and lesser provisions of water.

Land maybe suitable for agriculture but the psyche of the populace is more of business.

You can trace this from recent appreciation of exports upgrowth to the fact that Pakistan produces nothing for the industrialized world per say.

That is why the state is promoting industrial agriculture as means of balancing out the potential.
Good governance is the most lethal counter-attack and the government must deliver. It does not cost-intensive. The federal government and governments in Punjab, KPK, and Balochistan (Sindh I don't know how Bilawal Zardari Bhutto or Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is very confusing )have to work in unison to put some basics right. They must focus on police and lower judiciary in cooperation with the high courts. District administrations must start delivering through monitoring and enforcement. The three provinces must kick start the agriculture development. Grassroots economy has to be agitated while middlemen and black marketers have to be taken to task. Price hike in basic commodities and medicines must be brought under check. Its high time the government starts concentrating on National Power. Then no one will listen to self-proclaimed spiritualists and heroes. That’s the time Imran Khan must revert to people. If you Don’t and you live to regret it.

Do you think we should believe this Indian propaganda? We know how Pakistani NGOs are working on your payroll, make it news in Pakistani media, and then your IT cell pick this news and make it a social media trend on google and Twitter by using your population advantage. Tell me something new in your propaganda factory.
There are two types of people in Pakistan ,one people who support PTI and are patriots and second who oppose PTI and called traitors ,non Pakistanies etc.
I can post videos of ordinary Pakistanies but again you will label them traitors.

I don’t know where you’re based, but if you go to streets you will find 9/10 people saying the same thing so this survey is surely based on good sample.

Based on your flags and mine, i'm pretty sure you're wrong.
