3rd-time unlucky Nirbhay to try luck once more

Are you calling rafale sub standard procurement?
Isn't it like blasphemy in India these days?

We buy rafale but we do not want to buy planes for ever from others. We have made our plane in light catagory and we are making in medium catagory. We have a partnership in heavy catagory.

Please read in which context that post was written. I was told not to spend money on R & D but purchase it from others. I replied that that does not fit into our vision.

Sir i wont go on to discuss or debate the legitimacy of indigenous tag of LCA or the project in medium category (i actually do not know what indigenous project you are referring too here) or even the heavier one (we know about the T-50 project and HOW it is progressing)
However i do want to point out that the original post never asked you not to spend money on R&D and just purchase whatever you need. You took that to be offensive somehow, engaged in a similar tone argument and there goes the discussion. It is good for India that they do not actually have a kind of vision that you mentioned here and are more then willing for TOT and absorb technology from different sources.

3 Nirbhay trials have been conducted of which the 1st and the 3rd trial failed. 2nd trial was a success with the missile travelling its full range of 1000km+ and covered over 15 waypoints and demonstrated an ability to loiter. The 3rd trial was a failure, during which the idea was to test low level flight.

Nirbhay will eventually be a success, it is also pretty advanced with an ability to loiter. Also, it is being developed for all 3 services to use from Land, ships, subs and aircraft.

Not at all. I have not taken anything offensive. The discission traced back to post No 25 and I had replied to the discussion of this post.

There is nothin wrong with obtaining technology from wherever we can. It shows our good relations of Pakistan with certain countries. India should follow suit instead of wasting public money on blowing up dysfunctional missiles.
Save money by buying components off the shelf. Simple
