The news circulating was that the Egyptians weren't happy with the original package or the Rafales performance hence they went for SU-35s, the French may have sweetened the second deal.

This is their repeat order, if we will buy another batch of 36 Rafales we will get it for far less cost as per Dassault Aviation. Plus he is from the congress party obsessed with Rafale deal so he would obviously type it.

There’s a big difference in their deal and our this is their 2nd purchase and their first deal in 2015 was for 6 billion dollars for 24 Rafales and ours was for 7.8 billion dollars for 36 Rafales and 2nd order will obviously cost less, but then if it keeps you happy, Keep believing what you wrote.

I mean doesnt make sense for just 36 ac acquistion
Cost saving wasnt apriroity at all hence why french milked them to top level
