New Delhi: Aiming to fine-tune its war fighting strategies, India will hold a massive military exercise on its western front in Rajasthan in October-November.

As per a report in The Times of India, Indian Army's 21 Corps, one of the 3 strike corps, will be at the core of the exercise which will have armoured, artillery and infantry divisions taking part in it.

The exercise, reportedly, is primarily being held to practise swift, high-intensity attacks into enemy territory.

Importantly, Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag had recently stated that his force's operational strategy had factored in the need to be ready for "swift, short nature of future wars" with "limited warning time".

The TOI report further added that over 30,000 troops, hundreds of T-90S and T-72 battle tanks, artillery guns, rocket systems – all supported by satellites and drones, and airborne radars - will take part in the exercise.

The newspaper quoted sources as saying that Pakistan has been informed about the impending military exercise, as is the protocol between the two countries.

They are practicing their limited war under nuclear umbrella doctrine in Rajasthan. These exercises are war drills as well as pressure tactics. Last failed exercise was BrassTacks when Indian assembly dismantled after Pakistani deployment.

You are still developing and practicing CSD and we already made they answer to CSD, Nasr Missile.

Lawl remember 1962. You need spanking again.
Remember 1967,? The day you promised that you will never fire a single bullet ? Second Sino-Indian War of 1967: Decisive Victory for India and Defeat of China

No wonder China still follow it.

some thing like brass tag

hmmms it would been better if it was in Bangladesh front look like we are nothing now

Someone is trying to maintain image and itching for quick battle and its not Indian army. They think it will be battle but make no mistake if that happens whats expected then it will be war from here not just the battle.

Same goes for China . Any aggressive move in SCS countries especially our ally Vietnam or Japan will invite Indian response. It will be very bad for China

I am sure that China is very scared now of Indian intervention in SCS.
