Not familiar with that abbreviation, but who is he name and role in PAF. Looking at him it’s like he’s a planner or something.

Its cool thingy .. but i dunno bit bored with 27 Feb.. too much drama, hype, unnecessary ma pen eek karna and all... lol I think for all this, Indian are directly responsible for making BS drama and later since last 1 year continuously getting embarrassment in short bezat honday nay whenever they talk about balakot... 27 Feb is like Pain in *** for Indian and shugal in *** in Pakistanis lol
It would have not become darama if Abhinandan would have not have said Tea is Fantastic. This line alone was enough to make it way more funny than it was. The kind of personality he had was the main reason why it became funny.

I have either removed or concealed anything that may be sensitive but even then as you can see some folks still have comprehension issues.
There's a lot more. And it was well executed. Surprised a lot of former PAF personnel too.

You will never surprise us but we will always surprise you, was the famous statement by the former DG ISPR. And after one year of carrying out the operation Swift Retort, new details emerging as to how within 30 hours of the failed Balakot strike by the IAF, how the PAF mustered and delivered a classical blow to the Indians. While sketchy details of strikes on Indian targets and shooting down of IAF aircraft were released to the public, much of the information on those involved in the operation remains obscured. Now with kind permission of a certain person, I'm posting some classified details of the operation.

THEE GIBS and current Air Chief go long way back, from Vipers with Shaheens.

Not to with that abbreviation, but who is he name and role in PAF. Looking at him it’s like he’s a planner or something.
You can hear his name in the previous year's flypast on March 23rd in one of the formations. At that time I believe he was an AOC.

Good stuff but this post only reveals structure of TDS and Ace plus name of the mysterious GIBS which now a lots of people already know.

Where's the classified information related to Swift Retort?

@Windjammer

Honestly, with all due respect! give us something to talk about...this is not some thing classified who flew what...revelation would be something else...

If you had title the thread is different way like "ACE - cradle of Tactics" that would be understandable...but half the surprise ...thing...bring something on the table brother..

Please tell airboss..aysa kaab tak chalega!

The biggest surprise was to not shoot their jets we had a lock on.
They will never be able to figure that one out.

And some times we need to accept our flawed execution instead of dancing over it all the time.
Not only creating a question mark on our own claims, but to allow them to regroup and figure out the gaps and fill them and come prepared the next time around.

It's not about escalation (even I was in favor of not escalating initially) but it's about using your advantage while you can to its fullest. Did we?

What's the point of dominating the air for one day when it's going to help with nothing in a war in the future?
There are strategists, and then there are day battle winners.
Should we focus on conquering one peak and losing the whole war?

We jammed their Mirage 2000's? Good, next time they will carry stuff that won't allow us.
We evaded lock on? Next time they will come armed with stuff that not only locks us but is able to shoot us from a greater distance than we can.

Rafale with Meteor and Spectra. I seriously doubt the effectiveness of DA 20 after Rafale is inducted as both are French but Rafale being the latest with Spectra which could mean it can easily interfere in operations of DA 20.
Yes Rafale with Meteor is a danger. They can lock and shoot and scoot especially on our F16s armed with AIM120C5s and JF 17 Block Is and IIs armed with SD 10s as both BVRs are lesser in range with Meteor. Can't say about Block 3 armed with PL 15 as PL 15 range is said to be greater than Meteor

Enough with the 27th Feb stuff, we clearly have and should discuss better things, we had a great chance, we screwed it up, half-assed victories like these shouldn't be celebrated this much.
This is like we could've climbed Everest but decided not to and celebrated our safe return upon coming back.

you thinks they will get first RAFALE and they gets perfect all with RAFALE, its take IAF years to develop tactics against our JF-17/F-16 for RAFALE and we aren't sitting idle either we slowly improving our capability i hop new ECM aircraft is on the agenda of PAF and we Spectra & RAFALE are not invisible/invincible systems that we will not have counter against those system, i think main air superiority role will shifted to F-16 from block-3 when block-3 will have in numbers

And maybe Jammer too. Turkish Koral Jamming system has a Operational range of 200km

DA-20 is plane which is optimized for EW operations and it can be upgraded continuously, also HQ-9 have 150+ range that is why Rafael will mostly probably fly low but still both sides will use all available assets to maximize their capacity, its not just one system vs another.
