24 former PML-Q parliamentarians, nazims join PTI

LAHORE: At least two dozen former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) MPAs, MNAs and nazims announced they were joining the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday.
PTI chairman Imran Khan welcomed the former PML-Q parliamentarians’ and party workers’ decision. Khan said anyone could join his party, but party tickets would only be given to those who sincerely declare their assets, Express 24/7 reported.
Khan also said that the establishment cannot control the PTI as it is driven by “a vision” and that his party is not an heirloom that his children would inherit.
The PTI chairman criticised the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and accused them of engaging in dynastic politics of give and take.
As reported earlier, the PTI Sindh leadership said that the former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will join Khan’s party soon. Qureshi is expected to make an official announcement during a rally being held in Kashmore on November 27.

if every body is joining PTI, it just means that all of them which imran accused of are not corrupt or all of them are corrupt, either way imran is divulging into great controversy here

if every body joins PTI who is corrupt and who is not???

also loads of lotas are shifting tp PTI, which means they can shift their parties or become lotas again depending on the poor outcome of PTI in elections

remembering PMLQs are already lotas from PML N

This is a sad reality if IK wants to win in rural areas. PMLQ is very strong in rural politics because many have clan followings (biradaris) .I know it very well because i belong to a village in Gujrat and if u want to win here u hav to be either a Gujjar or Jatt etc. also u should hav tonnes of money and influence on transport industry because many villagers don't even know their rights on an election day .Poor villagers hav to be taken to the polling stations on the polling day and paid some money also otherwise they don't bother voting.. IK has already said that in urban areas he will field young /professional candidates and in the rural areas he will give tickets to people who have no corruption charges on them and are relatively clean. Not the whole PMLQ is bad , there are clean people even in PPP but sadly they are not made ministers by Mr. 10% .

either you can have a china like revolution where a party literally goes to every nook and corner of the country and educate people and make them aware to give up opium and build a country ravaged by wars, or either you can do it remaining in the boundary line and negotiate with controversial people

i dont think imran khan has many options available now, the entire country, as tyab pointed out, the rural area is uneducated, they dont know their rights and they dont know what is right from wrong

anyways, hope imran can deliver what he is telling

This is turning into a bloody circus i am telling you ... no disrespect intended for PTI, Imran Khan (the guy has potential ) or it's fans, i personally believe he made two new assholes in shariff's in Lahore (besides their original and their mouths) ...

IK will lose control on his party once these so called lotas will win election. They are don in their constituency, they are not used to listen to any one command..
They will spend millions of rupee to win election .. even is they will stand on PTI's ticket .. they have to spend money to win .. and to recover that money they have to do corruption .. their salary as MPA or MNA will take them nowhere... ...
They will use same tactics to win election which they learnt under PLM-N or Q ..

Issue is, system of election ... where candidates needs to campaign at street level .. which need power and money (root of corruption )
They should just allow to do campaign at certain lelve .. like no really at street level .. no posters and no speakers.. you can hold meetings in some ground once for each village .. and candidate can't campaign with more than 1-2 cars.. and all private mass transit vehicals or trucks should get banned on election .. ppl should get some benefits like some sort of discount for sugar or urea on election day on booth once they do voting..

Police should rounded all anti social elements on day of election for 48 hours.. in India rounding up process happens in many places ...

They know that PTI is gonna get shyt load of votes.

So they are eager to win again.

So sad that PTI is letting them in...i can't see how Imran Khan can bring about a positive change now.....i am confused...

Imran Khan is the only Pakistani politician who is totally against corruption. He said in a 1996 interview that all corrupt politicians should be hanged. Maybe he will accept some of these PML-Q members into his party, but he and his party members will investigate their assets first. We all know its very difficult to find clean politicians in Pakistan but he will probably accept only those PML-Q members who are the least corrupt not known thieves like Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.

Yes PML-Q will bring in lots of votes. PML-Q is mostly made of Chaudhry people. Most of rural Punjab are Chaudhry people.

eh? i might be wrong but apart from their natural ones ... bullshit comes from their mouth too thus classified as asshole ... to be politically correct almost all the politicians have this natural anatomical feature of having extra asshole serving as their mouth ...

A lot of people are being critical and seem emotionally hurt in result of IK accepting a couple of old guys.

I myself wouldn't like to see corrupt people holding public offices if IK forms a future government. If we give vote to IK because we trust him on what he says, then he should live upto his voter`s expectations.

But I think lets not lose it just now. Its still the beginning.

Lets also keep in mind that at the moment PTI is only accepting them into the party. There are two things to it..accepting and then giving party tickets for election.

We know nobody corrupt has been given party ticket for election yet. So lets be patient about our judgements about this all andsee who will be candidates. We don't know that yet.

IK has been screaming since ages now against corrupt politicians. I am sure he will be under extreme moral, ethical and people`s pressure not to give party ticket for election to corrupt guys.

Lets patiently see how political chess board rolls on.
