CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel held two Indian cattle traders from Shibganj Upazila on allegation of illegal intrusion into Bangladesh land on early Friday.
The detainees were identified as Mostaser, 26, and Aliul, 25.
Locals said five cattle traders entered into Bangladesh cutting the barbed-wire fence at around 5am.
Later, Mostaser and Aliul went to Abed Alis residence at Dhanipara village under Shibganj upazila for taking money of the sold cattle.
On information, BGB Shialmara camp members raided the house and held two Indian nationals. They are trying to detain three other Indian traders.
Shialmara Company Commanders Headquarters Subedar Golam Rabbani told banglanews, A flag meeting is scheduled to be held in the afternoon over the matter. The Indian nationals would be handed over to BSF during the meeting.
