And hows the end result going for you so far, you accomplished your task of splitting Pakistan in two but in the end failed to achieve your goal. You have allowed Pakistan to concentrate her numbers on one front instead of splitting up and have a neighbour on your Eastern Front whom you liberated that does not trust you and have vital issues outstanding with them. Great for chest thumping but no meaningful benefit.

East Pakistan still exist in it's substance. Only name changed but ideology still there. Bangladesh has become more Islamic than past and will stay the same in future Insh'Allah.

So how exactly is that bad for us ? I dont seem to comprehend your thought process. Isnt it always better to concentrate on front rather than two hot fronts to take care off. Indian planners thankfully ensured that was not the case in future.

Why ? Is it because there are some anti india BD posters on this forum ? Is it because these posters conjure up some stupid articles or write a book based on their wet dream ? Well it is not the case. There are issues - no doubt. But BD and IND are both relatively new countries, it takes time and effort to solve these issues. India has been very proactive in recent times ever since Chinese has started to make inroads into neighboring countries.

Ohh but the meaningful benefit is there even if you fail to see it. We have some strategic depth ever since east pakistan became BD. And honestly dont count on BD to help you in case of war.

BD govt is democratically elected by its own people and that to in a landslide victory. It is a elected govt by the people for the people. India does not have the influence to control it -- all it can do is request it based on the past relationship with the government. So please stop posting these stupid oneliners - it does no good for the discussion. How would you feel if i were to say that Singh's government is controlled by NATO ?
