I don't think you know how big the gulf is between someone who can merely speak a bit of Chinese and someone who understands that poem. The knowledge is something you can't fake even by knowing Chinese.

I don't really understand the last 2 line, I mean I do understand them by word, but I don't see how the last two line (Which talks about the death of 冠軍候 (which is a military honor of sort in west han giving to 霍去病, which credited for slaying 100,000 barbarian) where the last line is about how someone died a hundred time and still will not regret doing it for 漢殤帝 (Which is a king during East Han) related to the rest.

Where am I misunderstanding it? You said the protagonist of the poem did it for 漢殤帝?

As for whether or not Chinese Allow Dual Citizenship, you probably need to ask Elieen Gu that question and see if she renounced her US citizenship? Bear in mind, renouncing US citizenship is a public record you can look up. And according to the latest version of INS database, she had not, so how did she represent China? So does almost all the member of Chinese Ice Hockey Team? Ask them have they renounced Russian, US, and Canadian Citizenship??

If Elieen Gu is an American citizen, she definitely can not join Chinese PLA, how can you join foreign armies as a Chinese citizen?
