Islamabad [Pakistan]: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has deported 160 Pakistanis who were living illegally in the country.
As per details, these people have been sent to Pakistan’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport on a special plane- SV-3724, reports Dunya News.
The immigration authorities of Pakistan have taken the deported persons into custody after verifying their details.
An earlier report said that nearly 250,000 Pakistanis were deported from various countries during the years 2012-2015 with Saudi Arabia deporting 131,643 Pakistani nationals United Arab Emirates – 32,458, Iran -28,684, Oman – 17,248, Greece – 14,145, United Kingdom – 9,778 and Malaysia- 8,861.
Most of the individuals deported from Saudi Arabia and the UAE were job seekers and businessmen.

Saudi Arabia should have naturalized them instead of deporting them, in my opinion.

back in 2011 more than 50,000 Indians were deported from KSA however, normally people dont discuss such things in defence forums but frankly until our countries will keep threatening eachother poverty will keep elevate and our people will keep suffering on and on in search of better future in strange lands

We have 1.5 million Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia alone and I believe around 3 million in GCC countries. Thats quite a low figure as you literally have asany people deported on daily basis. The same is true for Indians, Bangladeshis and some other nations so I wonder why this is a news

Get the hell outa these Iran and Saudi arabia,Just use these countries for mutual benefit and business ,Nothing else.
They almost ruined Pakistan by funding these terror groups and Jihadi factories.

I Just checked with a few departments, the official figures for Pakistanis in the GCC is nearly at 4m, with KSA and UAE having the most followed by Kuwait and Qatar.

If Pakistani people don't respect the law or these countries don't need the labor , then they have all legal right to deport them.

Every ten years or so, an Amnesty is announced for people whose residency status is illegal, the Foreign Diplomatic missions in the UAE issue "out passes" and people exit without paying fines.

The number of those people, well exceeds the 100k figure, but no one talks about that.

Not an issue ...out of millions there are always the cases of expire visas ..Further there is no job visas or tourist visa for KSA to conduct a job search ..People who came here to find job usually buy/purchase Azad visa (fool by agents in Pakistan) ..They must know there is no such thing now...
In UAE yes there are definitely cases of Over stay as people usually get tourist visa easily..
Any how 160 is just a negligible figure..
