Its the first visit of a turkish leader in the Vatican since decades and our interior minister said before the meeting, that no matter how the conflict is seen by various groups, no demonstrations are allowed in Rome.
150 kurds from all around Europe travelled to Rome and started a demonstration around the Colosseum.
It was told to them to stop and go or face the consequences. Tehy did not go, so the law was enforced.
Meanwhile the Holy Father meet with Erdogan

No matter where you stand in this conflict. This is Roma. Our capital nd not only that, also our religious center. When it is said, that no demonstrations are allowed, you show respect for that and leave. If you dont follow the rules in our capital you learn that Italy is not Sweden.
