The Board of Investment on Tuesday submitted a report, highlighting 12 potential sites for special economic zones (SEZs) along the western route of multibillion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

The report, issued by the PM House, came after mounting criticism from various political parties, including the government of K-P and Balochistan, who felt that their provinces were deprived of SEZ and demanded sites to be marked.

To much drama over some new fancy roads and power projects. I really doubt China need anything from it, they will collect their guaranteed profit over decades to come. Though roads and power projects will help Pakistanis.

Bcz People in that region are the most deprived People in Pakistan, majority of them have to travel to Iran and Afghanistan in search for work. And that's the shortest rout, which was promised by the PM. Now of a sudden what happened to him, God knows best.

I m Punjabi but i agree with you all the ppl in Pakistan & all the provinces in Pakistan are equal... no big brother or small brothers ...we should all develop Pakistan & its provinces equally.........

I have no problems with Punjabis or Punjab, in fact 100% of my friends are Punjabi, I do, however, have a problem with the constitution that deprives smaller provinces of their rights, and I specially have a problem with people such as Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who have in the past pillaged smaller provinces (not small geographically actually, however, according to our fvcked up standard of sizing up provinces, 'population density') to satisfy their vote banks. If this continues for even five more years, you'll have something worse than Bangladesh at your hands. Enough is enough.

I m Punjabi but i agree with you all the ppl in Pakistan & all the provinces in Pakistan are equal... no big brother or small brothers ...we should all develop Pakistan & its provinces equally.........

I share your concern and i would strongly recommend that sites in baluchistan should have utmost priority followed gilgit baltistan followed by kpk....than sindh and than punjab.....

In long run this will not make even shred of difference though, caz u cannot have investment on gun point

This is why i say that we need to change from parliamentary system to a presidential system and all the provinces should get equal rights and voice in senate by equal representation unlike what we have now in which if u get majority in Punjab u can make federal gov which is wrong....

we should ban all the tourism related development in murree instead we should develop GB & Swat & Chitral in kpk for tourism... but also have renewable energy resources because it wont disturb the environment there and also a good solid waste management system

I have absolutely no problem with building western route .....or western SECs first...as i said wont make any difference as long as it is built and does not become another white elephant project due to political hassling....

And before we all get very jazbatti... please do understand both parties can sort out these differences... as long as there is a will

secondly the biggest developement plans should be in Baluchistan and progress has been made as far as CPEC is concerned,
