Bhubaneswar, Oct 4 (IANS) Twelve Maoists, including five women, surrendered in Odisha Friday, police said. The rebels, aged between 22-26, surrendered in Malkangiri town, 620 km from Bhubaneswar, District Superintendent of Police Akhileswar Singh told IANS.

The surrendered Maoists claimed that older rebels were harassing them and using them as shields during encounters with security forces.

Good news. I don't have problems with Maoists as long as they convey their ideas in a civil manner. No problem. They have a right to express, whether they are right or wrong.

Though I have a problem if they start murdering people, and raping small girls as per Mao Zedong teachings.

Great news.. with increase in education and basic needs being fulfilled more of them will join the main stream.
We need their contribution also in the success of the nation.
