Reporters from China National Railway Corporation learned that on September 22, the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the national railway ushered in a peak passenger flow, estimated to send 11.63 million passengers, plus 560 trains.
On September 21, 8,404 passenger trains were operated nationwide, including 435 additional trains. A total of 9.846 million passenger trains were sent, an increase of 2.94 million, an increase of 42.6%, compared with the same period last year. Among them, Beijing Bureau Group sent 1.01 million passengers, an increase of 256,000 passengers, an increase of 34.4%; Shanghai Bureau Group sent 2.18 million passengers, an increase of 560,000 passengers, an increase of 38.4%; Guangzhou Bureau Group sent 1.34 million passengers, an increase of 456,000 passengers, an increase of 51.4%.
Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. adds 4 pairs of Harbin-Dalian high-speed EMUs, 6 pairs of Harbin-Qizhou high-speed EMUs, 8 pairs of ordinary passengers from Harbin to Jiamusi, Manzhouli and other directions to facilitate passenger travel.
