Only focusing on Haroon Khan because he is the only Pak boxer that I am familiar with because I have gone to see a couple of his boxing matches live - a friend had some free tickets and I had nothing better to do. And Khan was forced to quit from the Asian games due to an injury.
Oh well...
Okay thanks and Haroon Khan is a dual national who opted to fight for Pakistan when the UK's olympic boxing coach chose someone else.
Did Haroon Khan fail to qualify or did he not fight due to the AIBA deciding that Khan could not box for Pak?
Hi, I have been searching for Pakistan's Olympic Boxing team, but can't seem to find anything. Can anyone tell me who is fighting for Pakistan, if anyone, and is Haroon Khan going to be fighting?
Yes I heard that Pak army was hiding Bin Laden. However, that came with evidence, namely Bin Laden being found near military facilities.
:what: What is this supposed to prove? Neither of those articles even mention the CIA. Bases in Afghanistan doesn't prove or even insinuate that there is an...
I am not asking for potential motivations of the CIA. I'm asking for evidence. By evidence I mean something like a news article that reports on a link between the two or another reliable source of information.
He categorically denied the rape charges, right from the begining. I believe him. All the Jury saw was an angry, strong Black man and probably decided that he was guilty before the trial even started. Besides, it was in prison that Mike Tyson became a Muslim and changed the way he conducted...
More so than Pakistani nationals? :what:
There is nothing outrageous about not wanting to marry someone you have never met, have a cultural barrier with and probably a language one too.
 he isn't fighting for Pakistan, his younger brother (Haroon Khan) is.
Now that Amir Khan has turned professional he can't fight in the olympics. Only amateur boxers are allowed to fight in the olympics.
What a ridiculous thing to say. I am sure there are many Pakistani Laws you disagree with, does this mean that your only option should be to leave? Would you not try to reform or protest unfavourable laws?
What about Turkey or Bangladesh? Neither of these Muslim countries have a blasphemy law.
First off, I would like to point out that I oppose the Blasphemy law as it is a violation of free speech. However, I object to your use of the phrase 'you Muslims', which categorises us all in one homogenous group. We don't all think the same way and I agree that we should follow the Prophet...
"For every 10 to 15 people killed, maybe they get one militant."
So true, yet the spineless government does nothing. I can't wait for the day Pakistan has a leader that actually represents the will of the people.
